Safdar Ali Syed is an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner and MSK sonographer (Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging (Ultrasound) & Postgraduate Certificate in Ultrasound-guided MSK injection therapy from the University of East London). He performs ultrasound-guided MSK injections as part of the rehabilitation process if required and appropriate. He has completed Diplomas in Orthopaedic Medicine and a Diploma in the treatment and Practice of injection therapy.

He has nearly two decades of experience in assessing and managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. He graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, India, in 2000-01. After graduation, He worked as a National Games physiotherapist in India. Since moving to the UK in 2003 worked in NHS and private organisations and gained knowledge in various Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, and Trauma cases. Besides, he has gained clinical, leadership, service development and people management skills. He is an education/CPD adviser and course organiser for Prosper physio overseas Ltd prosperphysio.in and maintains high standards. He also sees private patients through his own company Physiooverseas Ltd UK & First Contact Physio Ltd UK.

He always had a clear interest in MSK pathologies since his graduation, so he worked purely in MSK service for nearly last two decades and over the previous eight years plus worked as an Extended scope physiotherapist covering all the areas of MSK service (Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, chronic pain and Diagnostic MSK US and both landmarked & USGI). He has gained more knowledge and enhanced his experience working with Rheumatology and Pain Consultants in Multi-Disciplinary Clinics.
